The Chamber’s online
directory was
searched more than
1.7 million times in
2007. When a
business owner or
consumer looks for a
local merchant, they
turn to the
Chamber’s website,
knowing that they
will find the best
of the best. If you
are looking for a
great source of
local advertising in
Howard County, there
are many options to
choose from, many of
which are available
for just hundreds of
dollars per year. A
primary option is a
banner ad on various
pages, including the
directory results
page, where your
business can be one
of only three banner
ads that appear when
your industry is
searched. A
secondary option is
to add your logo to
the directory
results.
- Chamber Weekly Advertising
The Chamber’s
weekly
electronic
newsletter is
e-mailed to more
than 1,200
people with that
number growing
each week. A
limited number
of banner ads
are available
for sale in each
Chamber Weekly

From free
directory
listings to
display ads,
there are a
number of ways

annual
directory. This
document is
printed in full
color on glossy

A mailing list
of Chamber
members is
available for
purchase as a
database or on

It can be

The Chamber’s
quarterly

Connect, is
mailed to more
than 1,000
addresses as a
primary way of

available for
sale in each
newsletter.

Member
companies
can serve as
a host venue
for the most
popular
networking
event, which
typically
attracts
about 100
people. Host
businesses
have the
opportunity
to showcase

during the

- Power Networking Breakfast Hosting
Member
companies
can also
host the
more focused
networking
exchange
that is held
a few times
each year.
This event
provides
attendees
the
opportunity
to directly
promote
their

fellow
members and
provides the
hosts a way

Many Chamber
members
offer
discounts
and benefits
to other
Chamber
members and
their
employees
through this
program that
is promoted
online and
through
literature
